Job Summary
The Director, Digital Marketing Product is responsible for defining and executing the full product roadmap for Capture Higher Ed’s digital marketing solutions. This role leads the transformation of service-based offerings into scalable, platform-driven products that span email, dynamic content, digital advertising, and personalization capabilities—all with the goal of driving enrollment outcomes for higher education partners.
This individual will play a pivotal role in integrating Capture’s proprietary Behavioral Intelligence Platform and predictive models across digital marketing workflows, differentiating Capture from generic platforms by delivering enrollment-specific intelligence, personalization, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Roadmap
- Own the end-to-end digital marketing product roadmap, aligning it with Capture’s platform-first strategy and client value.
- Define features, functionalities, and milestones that turn high-touch marketing services (email, dynamic content, advertising) into scalable, software-based solutions.
- Conduct competitive research and market analysis to position Capture’s solutions distinctly from general-purpose marketing and advertising platforms.
Platform Integration & Differentiation
- Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Marketing to embed Capture’s proprietary insights—behavioral modeling, predictive scores, identity resolution—across all digital marketing channels.
- Lead the productization of differentiated capabilities across:
- Geo and behavioral targeting at the top of the funnel
- Dynamic, profile-driven landing and content experiences
- Predictive decisioning in campaign and content strategy
- Continuous profile enrichment through behavioral and platform data
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Client Success and Digital Marketing teams to gather client feedback, prioritize needs, and shape product direction.
- Support Client Success in translating strategic enrollment goals into actionable digital marketing product offerings.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure timely development and deployment of features across channels.
Client & Market Impact
- Champion how Capture’s platform data outperforms traditional marketing ecosystems by focusing on enrollment outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership and client-facing insights on the unique ROI and student engagement value of Capture’s multi-channel marketing approach.
- Evaluate product performance, usage, and client adoption metrics to inform future roadmap decisions.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Product Management, Business, or related field required
- Master’s degree or certifications in digital marketing or product management preferred
Experience
- 5+ years in digital marketing product development, ideally in EdTech, martech, or multi-channel marketing platforms
- Proven experience owning and executing product roadmaps across multiple digital marketing channels (email, content, advertising, personalization)
- Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems, ad tech, CRM, and predictive analytics tools
- Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams
