Junior Sales Development Representative (Floater) and Data Hygiene Specialist

Join our growing team as a Junior SDR (Floater) and Data Hygiene Specialist, a hybrid role that combines hands-on sales development experience with critical CRM data hygiene work. You will directly support our SDRs and Regional Directors by stepping into active territories as needed, while also playing a vital role in keeping our Salesforce data accurate, complete, and actionable. Key Responsibilities
- Floater Coverage: Step into territories to maintain prospecting momentum, support active outreach cadences, and cover for SDRs during PTO, ramp periods, or coverage gaps.
- Data Hygiene & Cleanup: Audit, deduplicate, and enrich Salesforce records to ensure accuracy of account, contact, and lead data across the higher education database.
- Account Research: Identify and validate decision-makers, org structures, and institutional details to support targeted outreach.
- Outbound Support: Execute outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and LinkedIn when assigned to a coverage territory or campaign.
- List Building: Build and maintain prospect lists for ABM campaigns, conferences, and territory pushes.
- Sales Tool Maintenance: Keep Salesforce, Salesloft, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator records current; flag and resolve data quality issues.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with RevOps, Marketing, and SDRs to ensure data flows cleanly between systems and that campaigns launch with accurate audiences.
- Reporting Support: Assist with pulling lists, building basic reports, and surfacing data quality trends to leadership.
- Stay Informed: Build a working knowledge of the higher education market, key trends, and Capture’s positioning.
Requirements
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience in a sales, marketing, operations, or customer-facing role.
- Internship or coursework in business, sales, marketing, or communications is a plus.
- Exposure to higher education (as a student leader, campus employee, or recent graduate) is a plus but not required.
Tech Fluency:
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly; prior exposure to Salesforce, Salesloft, HubSpot, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for data cleanup and list management.
- Mac proficiency is a plus.
