The right candidate is creative and passionate about visual communication. This can be someone who has graduated from university with a graphic/visual design degree and has 1+ years of industry experience.

Profile

The Visual Designer is responsible for ensuring that our deliverables reflect work of the highest caliber. You will facilitate and guide the design and production of a variety of projects focused on digital content for key brands, such as Carhartt, Costco, Weber, Kendra Scott, Carter's, and many more. As a member of our world-class team you will show a strong design background with an intense drive to learn more and do more to be the best. We want you to own the project, make it yours and ensure it gets delivered on time and on budget. This role requires an innate eye for consumer and graphic trends, the ability to manage multiple projects at a time, and strong collaboration and communication skills with internal sales teams. There is a strong team spirit within the Content & Design Service team with a collaborative approach, including open, honest, and productive feedback.

Visual Designer Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-quality digital content to our clients through management of statements of work, project plans, regular meetings with clients and internal teams, and final approval that the product creation matches the clients’ vision and applicable statement of work.
  • Encourage cross-departmental collaboration with internal teams and with customers.
  • Work closely with the project managers (PMs) and customer success managers (CSMs) Assess workload and consult with clients requesting work to define requirements and scope. Ensure work is done on time and within budget.
  • Obsession with the quality of what content gets launched; key internal and external evangelist of experience design and digital services.
  • Efficiently and effectively manage day-to-day problems and communicate effectively in difficult and time-sensitive situations. Understand when (and why) to escalate issues to senior management.
  • Produce beautiful, personalized, brand-differentiating digital content using the Fastr Frontend platform (native SaaS platform).
  • Visualize the objectives of projects and determine the steps and processes to bring them to life while being adaptable and working with a global team to meet milestones and complete projects on time.
  • Collaborate on digital experience designs with other members of the Content & Design Services team and integrate feedback.
  • Develop new and creative ways to leverage the tools within the Fastr Frontend platform to produce exceptional content.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet stakeholder expectations, including adherence to established specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in graphic design, UX, CX, visual arts, or similar.
  • 1+ years of web/visual design experience backed with a strong portfolio.
  • Firm knowledge of branding, web, interactive and graphic design. Excellent typography skills.
  • Prior experience with responsive design and mobile design.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment, with good time management skills. Ability to balance priorities and manage a large volume of work with tight deadlines while managing your own time ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Outstanding creativity, enthusiasm, sense of humor, team spirit

Must have skills:

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience in graphic, visual, and CX design
  • Experience in using Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Great time management skills
  • Creativity is a must!

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience in retail and non-retail content marketing
  • Experience in Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Premier Pro and/or Rush, and PenPot
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML and JavaScript would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
