Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance our infrastructure to support the diverse needs of our clients, from large financial institutions to high-end retailers.

• Transition from Puppet-configured VPCs to Kubernetes, aiming for greater flexibility and efficiency.

• Implement, manage, and maintain bare-metal and higher-level AWS services, including custom VPCs.

• Be available on-call to troubleshoot and resolve system emergencies, ensuring the reliable operation of our systems.

• Collaborate with global teams across different time zones (India, UK, East Coast US).

• Develop thorough infrastructure documentation and keep abreast with the latest in software and infrastructure technologies.

• Propose and implement system enhancements to improve the reliability and performance of our systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix, AWS, system administration, and cloud-native technologies.

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker as well as configuration management technologies such as CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong understanding of networking and security (SSL/TLS, encryption, etc)

Additional Requirements for Senior Position:

• At least 5 years of experience in system administration, cloud services, or similar roles.

• Proven track record in transitioning to cloud-native technologies and automating system processes.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
